im currently thinking of putting a couple of forward facing rear seats in the rear of my 90 for the kids. The problem is access as it’s a TD5 and I do not want to butcher the tub to get puma seats in.
I was thinking, if the front seats would slide all the way forward and if the tub had a bulkhead removal bar fitted, you could easily get to the rear seats from the front.
Does anybody know of an oem seat rail kit that will allow the passengers seat to slide all the way forward for a defender (ie 3 door hatchback style). I have seen the extender kit, but that only increases the vertical height!
Any thoughts on my idea?
