Front Passenger Window Regulator

Hi, I am looking for some advice on how to remove the passenger window regulator on a 1999 3Dr Freelander. The window is currently held up with tape to prevent it from falling down, I can get the plastic panels off but can't get the actual metal door bit out as it seems to require a star shaped screw driver thingy????

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated

haynes manual, great bit of kit to start. never had a car without one. and the star shaped screw driver thingy is called a torx drive. you need T25. and you need to search then you will find this:

i would invest in a good selection of tools, , you are going to need them if you keep a freelander,

the window cables usually rust and snap, easy and cheap to fix, using cycle brake cables
