Hi to all you guys and girls out there, my wife has a freelander 2.0 td4 Auto, its a great drive and weve not had her long, the freelander that is, when youve run the engine and then turn it off it sounds like there is some sort of fan running and at the nearside front of the car, and there is a pipe which pokes through the bumper and hot air and sometimes plumes of black smoke come out until it cuts out ,forgive my ignorance but i dont know a lot about freelanders , can any one give me any clues as to what this is and is it normal, its done 66k and has full service records. Regards Andy, newbie.
