Freelander 2 - Headlight washer

Hello, I have a 2011 Freelander 2. I need to replace the fos headlight washer. I’d be grateful for any advice on the simplest method of accessing & removing the retaining clip. I’d like to avoid removing the front bumper and have tried and failed via the fog light. If I remove the headlight would that give me sufficent access? Any ideas gratefully receive.

The only real way to access the rear of the washer is to remove the bumper and lay it front down on a piece of carpet or on grass.
