Hi
I know this is a very well talked about conversation
I am trying to find an affordable All terrain tyre (Not Mud) that will fit my 18" wheels with no mods
Are there any Budget tyres people have that are OK
I will end up paying more for tyres than i paid for the truck otherwise.
many thanks

Look for 235/55/18 tyres, as this size has more AT tyres available then the standard 50 profile tyres.
Yokohama Geolander AT 015 are a good tyre, but the price fluctuates quite a bit, so buy when they're cheaper.
Cooper AT as suggested are also a good tyre.
The Michelin Latitude Cross are a very good tyre, but prices are high.

I ran Cooper Touring CS4 in my 18s, which are more road biased, but went everywhere I needed, as the Freelander AWD makes the best out of the available grip.

Thanks guys for info offered so far..
They all sound like what i am after just cant seem to find the sizes at a sensible price.
Will 55 profiles fit fine ?
Thanks again

Definitely go for 55 profile, which fit ok.
I still can't upload pictures, but on normal type tyres a 55 profile fits with about 8mm of clearance to the spring cups, which is plenty.
I would personally use a good all season tyre in preference to an AT, as ATs are not really any better off road, and compromised on road.

The Yokohama Geolander AT 015 is a good AT with all season capability.

The downside to Yokohama tyres is supply isn't always constant, so if you want a particularly size, you have to buy when they are available, which unfortunately means paying for the privilege.
They're good tyres though.
