Free wheel hubs

Was buying a few bit for my landy the other day. Got talking about petrol prices. The bloke who sold me some parts said that free wheel hubs would increase MPG. Is that right. And if so what are the best ones to buy.

In theory yes, fitting freewheel hubs stops the front axle and prop from spinning in 2wd,but you will probably not notice any difference in mpg.
