My mate has bought an early series and the chassis number is below 04.

We think it may be a prototype but would like to know what typr of front and rear side lamps it should have?

I spose if would have two rear lamps as I think the law changed in the early fifties requiring vehicles to have two rear lamps.

any help appreciated :)

Thank you.

Did the first series twos have two rear lights then?

:)

You don't get many rivit counter types on here - they tend to stick to the dedicated Series 1 (or 2 or 3) owners clubs.

The Series 1 bunch (at least) are a friendly bunch though and happy to offer advise - just don't expect the same level of **** taking and bulls%*t you get on here! :)
