Hi guys....I have a slightly unusual problem with my steering box. It was a brand new Adwest box, fitted a couple of years back, and there's now a bit of play at the steering wheel which I need to adjust out.
Now normally you just undo the locknut on the adjuster a touch, stick an allen key or whatever in the top of the adjuster and wind it down as required, finally nipping the locknut tight....my problem is that there isn't a hole in the top of the adjuster, it's flush, so I can't adjust.
Now unless I'm missing something here (and I don't think so, done this a few times) I need an adjuster. They don't seem to be available as a spare, I mean who would need one, so has anyone got a scrap box I can have the adjuster from? Don't really want to use molegrips to move it, as there's no feel with that method
