Disco tax confusion..help a hairdresser

Hi Guys,
Im looking at getting rid of my TD4 freelander and buying a TD5 Disco, 2002.
I stuck the reg in the DVLA website just now and it gave me the following:

I cant figure out why it is saying 12month is £270? It was registered after March 2001 so why does it not fall into the £475 category?

On the following link The cost of vehicle tax for cars, motorcycles, light goods vehicles and trade licences : Directgov - Motoring, you will. find a table with the tax rates. This has the proviso "Band K includes cars that have a CO2 figure over 225g/km but were registered before 23 March 2006". This is what caps the tax at £270.

Sods, it was " only " £245.00 last year !.

My '03 Disco is £260 for a year, due end this month. I thought it would be more but its all relative just different grades of expensiveness!

thanks for that chaps, not ginna cost more than my td4 then bonus!
