Hi Guys
I have had to replace my crownwheel and pinion on the front diff after aslight mishap involving a short steep climb up a rather slippery track out of a river. The pinion took a bit of a twist and stripped a hole bunch of teeth off the crownwheel because the front wheels went slightly airborn as I crestes the top and the engine raced because the back wheels had also lost traction Needless to say that when the front wheels came back to earth they bit in immediately putting great strain on the diff. It is the normal Rover diff and 1975 model station wagon.
My manual has no info on the adjustments ets for the diff
Does anyone out there have this info to share with me I would be most grateful
Thanks
