Hi Folks
Wallbanger hear
Hears a question for those who know. Catalitic exhaust thing;y majig;ys, I;ve just been told that a cat in your exhaust on a deisel is a waste of time as it dos;nt do anything like it does on a petrol engine. Its also been suggested that it slows the engines acceleration becouse the exhaust gases are held up by the cat.
Bottom line:
I've got a 300tdi discovery
1. Have I got a cat.
2. Do I need a cat.
3. Will not having a cat inprove performance (of the car that is).
4. Will getting rid of this cat effect the MOT.
And finaly
5. If I,ve got one and dont need one whats the cheepest way of getting rid of it.
P.S. wheres the bl.......dy spell checker on this thing!!!!!!
