Broken rear diff I think?

Hi my rear diff has just gone on my 54 plate freelander any ideas of how much it's going to cost me and does anyone know of good breakers yard near Manchester and any good cash in hand mechanics ?

There are some decent breaker in Bury with Freelanders in.
