wait until you have broken you neck and back then you feel the pain

Well, I do sort of understand that as, years ago when I was at school, five of the "hard lads" in my year decided to give me a kicking for no real reason other than they were just ****ers, and fractured a vertebrae. As well as inflicting other more superficial injuries too. That hurt somewhat, as you can imagine, and took quite a while to recover from. Longer than their pathetic police caution took to administer, that's for certain...

**** me Craig that's pretty harsh.

I really, really hate dick heads like that. 5 of them had to prove that they didn't actually have teeny weeny little cashew nut size penises by picking on one kid and really hurting him.

On the plus side though, I bet you anything you like that their lives are a complete pile of **** now and they've amounted to absolutly diddely squit. Idiots with mind sets like that allways fail in life because in the real world society doesn't respond at all well to such things.

my broken neck and back did not stop there after some months of learnig to walk properly again the hostpital decided to give me a "special" xray it consisted of injecting a dye into my spine because i was haveing problem and after six of these over a few years I was suddenly getting worse so they had me in again and guess what the dye which is now banned is now destroying the nerves in my spinal cord! bummer or what the problem is called Adhesive arachnoiditis you can look it up I thought breking neck and back was painfull but this is something else 24/7 constant dredfull pain but I still have my life .But what annoys me is when people park in a disabled bay and are either not disabled or have borrowed grannies badge which is a big fine plus confiscation of the badge sorry but I had to get this of my chest so to speak

I agree teddy.. it ****es me off when I see peeps pull into a disabled space, put the badge up and they get out and run to the cash machine. :(

Flipping heck, that's a nightmare. Makes any injuries I've ever suffered pale into total insignificance, and I shall harp on about them no more. You really do have my sympathy, mate.

I have a friend who's disabled, and he too gets very wound up by able-bodied folk using disabled parking spaces. It's just not playing the game, is it? He's even had people just laugh at him when he points this out and shows them his badge. Unpleasantness has occurred in the past.

Mainwaring - yep, total scrotes, the lot of them. What they're doing now, I have no idea. Suffice it to say they weren't among the people I stayed in touch with after I left school

just to add 6 years ago i had cancer but beat it only just and now it has left me with a problem called barrets every 2 years i have to have the camera down my throat. I can not enjoy a meal over eating puts me in agony I am also diabetic I think I had better stop now all people will complain this is getting into a agony aunt page but thanks any way

In A&E with blood poisoning on new years eve! Then intensive care new years day with septic shock and complete organ failure cos they were out partying and didn't recognise it before it nearly killed me:( won't forget new year 2012 in a hurry! Three months before I could work anywhere near properly and I'm self employed! Screwed me right up. I literally owe my life to one dr in intensive care, the rest couldn't organise a **** up in a brewery ( on new years eve at least ) :)

Very depressing post by the way:D does the winner get anything?

must say was feeling a bit down this morning till reading this i feel lot better still sorry to hear ur have a routh time of it hope ur all up and running soon guys

I never set out to start a "depression" thread! It was more, "Oh bollocks, look what I've gone and done now..."

It seems there's peeps out there having a lot worse time of it than me though, so I'm not mentioning my ankle any more!

What can I say instead... erm, er, I know - my F/L passed its MOT two weeks ago. Went straight through with no advisories so I was pretty happy about that!

good news bones have healed together well, not perfect but no pin needed :D can feel it getting stronger every day which is usefull. now i've been to a&e a fair few times iin my short life but nothing like what you're going through mate. you have my sympathys.

every body is different and everybodys pain is different and no one can say I know what that feels like because they really do not why because we are all different our pain threshold is different I have learned to except it the onle thing I will never except is the way the pallet with a ton of plaster on it was loaded but will not go into that any hope the broken ankle gets better soon I have had one of those as well and the project charity giving I am sorry but it starts at home with me

cast off :D feels pretty good but haven't got full movement back yet.

Mine came off last Tues and I'm in a bionic boot thing for a couple of weeks. Foot and ankle are still a bit swollen and tender, but I can walk on it now and I'm going back to work tomorrow.

Progress then for both of us! You having any physio on your arm? Not sure about my foot, I'll see in a week or so what they say.

Glad to hear things are improving for you though.
