Ive finally started work on my 1983 series 3. The previous owner luckily supplied me with a large box full of new brake components. Also i found that i have the larger brake shoes and the duel wheel cylinders fitted to the front axle.

Unfortunately most of my brake lines didnt undo form my cylinders so i need to fabricate new ones. What size copper line do i need and what size unions? Also where can i purchase the unions online regards loz

There's a section in the manual which will help you identify whether the unions are metric or imperial. Or just take the old ones to your local motor factors and match them up. It's where I get mine from.

Cheers for that. I know what you mean ive done quite a few brake rebuilds on landrovers years ago and the mixture amount is very true :) I will sort them out at my motorfactors. Thanks for the help
