Bleeding problem 2.25 diesel

Hi

Trying to bleed the pump on my series 3 diesel. Can bleed the filter ok and the bleed screw on the pump control body.

Cannot get anything air or fuel out of the bleed screw on the pump housing. Previuosly the pump cap was leaking so changed that from another pump and now no leak but nothing out of the 2nd bleed screw. Has the pump had it?

Any ideas?

the only one you need to bleed is on round part of pump housing

Quick question if the bleeding is sorted will it start without using glow plugs?

New to 2.25 diesel so not sure of start proceedure but no cold start light comes on when ignition on 2nd click (is this the right positon for enabling glow plugs?)
