This is 'Belle'
Not because she's Blue or because I'm a huge fan of the Disney Film Beauty & The Beast, the last 3 of the Reg are BEL
She's a 1989 Ex Coastguard vehicle.
She's had a bit of surgery in the past few years prior to me giving her a new home recently. New Galvanised Chassis & Bulkhead, 200TDi GoldSeal Engine, R380 Gearbox, Heated seats, Ashcroft Diffs, new Turbo plus a few other little bits
Decided to purchase her instead of me throwing money away on a vehicle which within a few years of me using it for my fishing, would be about knackered and worth nothing but scrap value. That and the fact my youngest daughter loves Land Rovers, she even told me I wasn't to die until I'd bought it after we'd gone to look at her.
I'm not looking to turn her into a 'Pristine' show model by any stretch of the imagination, just do a few things I with the interior mainly, soundproofing & insulation, matting for the rear floor, headliner, roof rack. Plus the obvious security on top of what's there already.
So far she's keeping me busy, got me scratching my head with a few Gremlins with the Lights, but I guess that's more productive than me scratching my balls!!!
