I've recently bought a 1970 Series 2a, which as I'm finding out, needs some mechanical and body work.
I know a good body shop, however, I'm not to sure about mechanics. Does anyone know a good workshop or a trustworthy mechanic who's happy to work on vehicles this old in Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire.
I have a list of jobs to do, in particular a gearbox refurbishment, swivel joint seal replacement and refurb, and a service of the carb.
I'd be very grateful for an introduction.
