Annoying Whine When Warm

My Freelander TD4 2003 has developed a whine, this only occurs when the engine is warm. The pitch of it changes with rpm. Traveling speed has no affect on it, just engine rpm.

I am thinking alternator bearings or belt or somethine else? It gives a little squeak when revving and when first starting squeaks a little bit.
