Does anyone here know if there is a single ammo box that will fit snuggly in the back of a series 2a between the wheel arches on the floor pan? I have about 920mm. I'm looking for something I can bolt in. I've seen the Barebox, but don't want to shell out 100 quid when I can get an ammo box for 20.

The best idea I've had so far is to get two 640mm boxes and chop one down to the right size and weld them together to make a twin compartment box.

I have an ex-army box in the back of mine. Keep meaning to bolt it down, but, want a quick and easy way to remove it too and not quite come up with the best way of doing that yet.

Anyway... fits well and was free :) Its plastic though, not metal.

My problem is the box is normally full of crap (useful crap) so getting to bolts at the bottom isn't easy.

I was thinking of some kind of rail so it can only be slid out when the tail gate is down, then i can just stick a padlock on the tail gate to stop anyone opening it.

Just haven't found any suitable rail type stuff at my local (amazing) scrappy yet
