I never did business with them so can't rate their service but their
stuff looks good, complete kits. Otherwise, look for a Scout II with air
in a wrecking yard or via internet web. very simple, independent
system. Controls are on the interior unit which mounts under the dash,
mount the compressor on the engine, a bracket for the dryer and the
condenser coil, gets some hoses and you're in business. Won't cool a
full size SUV but OK for mid-size vehicles. Vehicles with A/C added may
need bigger alternator, bigger radiator as the air is already hot from
the A/C condenser coil, fan shroud, bigger fan or more blades, which
usually calls for fan clutch. Most vehicles with A/C from the factory
also have a method of increasing idle speed when the air is on due to the
big load on the engine, fan, and alternator.
