24v Distributor Cap

Hi All,

Just servicing the S3 2 1/4 petrol 24v FFR (all the screened HT stuff) and I need to replace the dizzy cap - does anyone know if the inside plastic bit comes out of the metal outer cap for replacement or if you have to change the whole lot? Any supplier recommendations?

it can be done you can also simply take out the old ht leads buy ht lead on a roll and fit normal ht leads normal spark plugs that's what I did with mine ran it for a few years then changed it to 12v

OK, thanks, might try that, 24v ignition bits are pricey!!!!!
