It is with great regret after much deliberation that I am selling my Discovery.
I have had some great times with it, but unfortunately due to a career change I have had very little chance to use it recently.
Discovery 1 200tdi auto.
Strong engine. All gears work perfectly, high, low and diff lock engage correctly.
7 seats.
CD player, 4x electric windows, electric mirrors, alloy wheels with A/Ts, steel spare with A/T.
MOT jan 2015, tax May 2014.
Front and rear diff guards
Steering guard
Midland cb
Roof lights x4
Front 'off roading spots'
Rear work lights
Front winch bumper
Vinyl number plate on bonnet
Jate rings
10 tonn strap
2 tonn recovery rope
Spare rear prop
Tow bar (not fitted but included)
Recant work -
Steering damper
Swivels adjusted
Front brake pads
Brake pipe
Front prop
Rocker replacement
Bad bits (all except the fog light went through mot) -
Blow in exhaust
Rear door handle need replacing
Off roading 'marks'
No rear fog lamp
Passenger mirror glass not fully secure (clips broken off the rear)
Diesel cap doesn't lock properly (never has since I have owned it)
None of the above bothers me as such, but always best to be honest.
It has given me great pleasure off road. Had a 'little scrape' last time out, but that's part of the fun.
It is amazingly solid underneath. The previous owners have really looked after it and in the last couple of years all the underside was stripped and repainted. The MOT tester and a Discovery mechanic who is on here mentioned how tidy it is underneath.
Passed last years and this years MOT with no advisories (went straight through this year just requiring a bulb).
I am open to sensible offers around £900 or there abouts.
