2005 Freelander TDI 2.0 A/C Part Number Needed

Dear All,
Recently the a/c in my 2005 Freelander broke down. I want to buy a replacement a/c Compressor but I realized there are various different compressor for a 2005 Freelander. Can anyone help me and give me the correct part number of an a/c Compressor for a 2005 Freelander 2.0 TDI model?

Besides a compressor, what part should I consider replacing? I am in Cambodia so there's no good mechanics here and parts ordering is complicated too. All comments are much appreciated.

^^^ agree. There are many things to check before swapping the compressor. E.g.

1. Fuses/drive belt
2. is the clutch engaging? If not, is there power to it?
3. Is there pressure in the system? A/C will not engage if not.

Etc.

Hi, Are you not near any larger population centres ?
You dont need a mechanic as such, you need an A/C place. Most towns of any size have one almost the world over. (obviously I do not know Cambodia...) ...
If the pump is turning then it is probably ok. If not it is the clutch or supply.
They are pretty reliable units. It will probably simply need re-gassing.
You can buy a recharge kit quite easily to try first..
