This is how I did mine. Small fuse box on the bulkhead, glowplug and ignition relays (black) on the bulkhead, additional relays for fan, headlights, horn, etc on the inner mud shield.

I had a similar issued with a new bulkhead that didn't come threaded. You can buy coupling nuts, or threaded inserts that fit into the bulkhead and accept the thread from the bolt. I bought some that had the same OD as the bulkhead and welded them in place.

Slackened them one at a time rather than all together? It should still run, albeit not well, with only one injector slackened at a time.

No doubt the ladder chassis is superior for any front or rear impact but I wouldn't want to be t-boned by any size car whilst sitting in my S3. The chassis rails aren't going to do anything and the outriggers will likely just pierce a radiator.

Morning all, Does anyone have a 2.25 or 2.5 na engine they're wanting to get rid of? I'm looking to rebuild one on the bench before swapping out my tried 2.25 diesel in the Series 3. Will be getting fully stripped but ideally something that hasn't got any massive issues.

No insults taken here at all, there's always something for us to learn and it's often the most basic things that are missed out. I do have access to good diagnostics at work, but I'm looking at the Alive Tuning interface that also doubles as a quick code reader.
