Sunny here at the mo but we know it won't last.
I'll be off shopping soon as W will have to stay in to let Sivat (water company) in to change the batt in the water meter.

So, it hardly rained at all, and only after I came in after doing 2 tankfulls of fool in the big machine attacking the"grass" again.
And those barstaff from Sivat never did turn up.
AND it's yet another bank holiday on Monday over here.
Will have to go diy shopping tomoz for fencing materials, all cos a doggy has dementia/stroke and cannot be trusted not to go wondering into the neighbour's patch and then ont t'road. It is getting very wearing having to always put two of them on a lead when we let them outside for their "needs" as the French so euphemistiaclly call it. I got woken up 3 times last night to let one or more of them out. Good thing I love em and still give them cuddles even at 3 O'clock in the a.m. No wonder I am a bit doolali!
Still, I got the food shopping done, W's scrip filled and a good chat with the chemist who has a fc101 and a 1/2 ton Lightweight. He was telling me that some spares for the FC are no longer obtainable AT all. So good thing my neighbour never got Shipper's one.
We is having bangers and mash tonight!

Got an email from Octopus telling us what marvelous people we are for getting involved in "Saving sessions" apparently we did 10 in a row, and got into the top 20% of savers, earning ourselves a whopping (wait for it.......) £8.50 in the process.
Which is hilarious as all I ever did was click on the "two clicks and you're in" thing to reg for it! Don't think we ever did much consciously to reduce our consumption, maybe avoided putting the diswasher on.

...ride completed today. Twice round the Island without stopping except for pedestrians, junctions and give-ways.
18 miles or thereabouts. All with e-assist because I is impaired, but I am happy with that level of non-stop miles and the battery usage.
