What engine do you have ? Also which box did you put the codes in ?
Another possibility is when Blackbox created you codes, they made a typo in the system !! (It has happened before, although rarely.)
Go to the Nanocom ID option in your...
I suggest checking with the guys at BBS either using they web contact page or the Nanocom forum. Which codes did you purchase ? If you login online it should confirm which vehicle the codes are for.
You should have an engine specific code...
It would flag an error if the pot either reached end stop or didn't move at all. Depends what gears are stripped, but I agree gears are the most likely.
It could also be the output shaft stripped or broken. The motor worm drive the two black...
According to RAVE the 1995 Classic has two circuits for the front calipers. The correct bleed sequence is complex (like the P38), but not all of it can be done with pressure bleed kit.
The dash LED only show the alarm is set. Sounds like you need door latch microswitches changing.
Does the car does unlock & lock on the FOB ? If not you also need to sort that, or you will wear out replacement latch as well !!
The Nanocom numbers also change in real time, but not in photos !! RH blend pot or motor definitely not correct.
Best way to see is to unplug from HEVAC, and put a ohmmeter across the pot wires. Then move them with a 9V battery & see if the...
Are you 100% sure the pot is not reaching it's end stop ? The pots & bought recently also need the gear in a non-standard position. Also check the distribution gears are correctly aligned - there are little marks on them as well.
How free...
Never tried it because I don't have a diesel, but in EDC settings there's an option to edit & write the setting.
BUT wait for the experts before changing anything.
Rail pressure = 0 ?? Engine speed = 0 RPM ? Sureley the HP pump needs the engine turning ?
Do the same diagnostic reading with the engine cranking on fully charged battery (or jump cables). Then see if the rail pressure looks better ?
Both are 1998. Yes one of them has an extra ignition switched relay to remove power to the EAS timer relay & ECU with ignition off. did it to block self-leveling.
Will try the hold button on the other when I get a min or three.
Yes, and it reads correctly in Nanocom.
Seems to depend a bit on the temperature. In winter they tend to settle an inch or two. In warmer weather they rise at the back !
Tried the hold button today. Started at home, hold button engaged &...
Doesn't work on either of my P38. I did try it several times, but next startup, both always revert to normal height. Maybe the ECU is different on yours ?
What you mentioned about C257 Pin-6 being bypassed to C177 could well be why the BECM does not send the code to the GEMS. The BECM does not know you are starting the car, so never sends any signal !!
I did a bacis (non scientific) check on the bench with my Son's VCU when we changed the prop UJ, and VCU bearings. Just clmped one side in the vice, and then use a big crowbar to check the VCU would turn & not siezed or sloppy.
Then put some...
But even with replacement BECM, GEMS, etc. the wiring still needs sorting. To be honest, unless the BECM has been messed with, sort the wiring locks & fob first. Then program a good GEMS to it, and it should all work.
Sounds better. I generall use the money supermarket one, but often find different price morning, afternoon & evening for the same criteria. They reckon 20-26 days before renewal, but I often find those aren't any better. Then 3-5 days before...
Basic VCU check is the "one wheel up test". See the thread at top of this forum.
You could also try taking the prop off & see if the rumble is still there in 2WD mode ?
Maybe it’s had a “free run” chip put in the ECU, if it’s put back in a RR I believe then some wiring needs changing at the BECM.
But the amount of wires that have been cut/changed makes me think just getting a matched set and binning what’s...
Sounds like someone bypassed all the BECM stuff to start the car. If it doesn't get the usual unlock, etc, it probably does not send any code to either ECU.
Maybe the original ECU fault is simply another bodge to make the car start without...
And by the way, do as Keith says, and delete you address from post-30 above. You can edit it because it was you that posted it. Otherwise the junk mailers will have a field day !!
