    Yes took 2 hands pull tensioner. It stopped when wd40 was sprayed on the belt. But then comes back. Only does it on idle. Or if I rev a little. It drives all OK and no noise when driving

    Yep I double checked them all and all tight now. But if look at my other post I'm now having problems with the auxiliary belt. But all bolts etc are tight.

    Replaced anti roll bar bushes and in the end it turned out on one of the drop links the mechanic hadn't tighten the nut up properly and the drop link was loose on anti roll bar. All sorted now and thanks for all advice. Now I've another problem with auxiliary belt slapping on idle. I've posted...

    He tighten the wish bones while it was up on axle stand but put jack under it and then tightend bolt. The bolts are tight. And the drops links are new as well as they were done yesterday same as the wishbones

    Just been out and had a look with a torch and can see it better turns out it is the bracket as pictured and not the case cover. Now I've just got to find a second hand part as £300 for a new one is steep

    If this is part of the timing case then how easy is it to change?

    It's this bit in blue. If that bit gets clued on with metal epoxy and then I out the back bolt into the support bracket and the top bolt in. Then this bottom bolt might hold ok? As does it goe through this and then into a support bracket?

    Ok thanks if it is the lower timing case and the alternator bracket behind is still OK could I not clue that part back onto the timing case with metal clue and then as long as the bolt goes into the alternator bracket it should still hold and be OK?
