Blow compressed air down the return and that seems ok, I'm on my own so couldn't listen at the tank filler but I think I could hear air down there. Meanwhile I managed to get a tie wrap on the offending spill pipe after 3 failed attempts. The...

Modulation should be as close to 50% as possible on a HOT engine. Just started it?

LOcking and Locking and unlocking with the key will have operated the micro switches which then decided to make contact, the key left in the lock would have made no difference. One of mine is like that in cold weather, I think the grease has...

Still got the plates ,yes. I can see the fuel running out of the end of the tube. That's why I changed the injector thinking the nipple was loose or scored or something. It will be tomorrow until I can try blowing the return line back to the tank...

No, perfectly dry and around the nut.

Turning off the immobiliser does not affect locking/unlocking with the FOB but it does mean you can unlock and start the car with the key. Not responding to the FOB could be the door latch micro switches, interference from a wireless device like...

Yes, same stuff on my 110 that lasts years. Injectors 2-6 are fine as well, even 2 to 1 is fine! Just 1 to fip at the injector nipple, fine at the fip end of the tubing. A brand new length from fip to number 1 was fitted yesterday at home, I...

Well dear friends, here I am back again after several re-visits to hospital, docs etc ( all due to covid ). Anyroadup, I HAVE managed to spend a few hours now & again messing with the paperweight. ALL the plugs & sockets in footwells have been...

Oooohhh, I turned off the immobiliser with nanocom, eka was already disabled since I've had her, would turning immobiliser off stop the fob operated central door locking? I only turned the immobiliser off a few days ago and I don't think I've...
  • Flossie
Bugger, now the central locking won't work off the fob button, led flashes but nowt. Haven't tried the key in the door to lock it yet.

And for those that don't know, the Recirculation motors are attached to the fans . . . . . not heater box. Rumour is they are also almost impossible to access !

Back story...all leakoffs replaced around 2 yrs ago with proper 3.2mm gates stuff. All have been fine except number 1 injector return to the banjo on the fip. I've remade this one 3 or 4 times until I discovered blow by past the injector copper...

The recirculation ones are different though, incase someone reading this orders a recirculation one like my friend did when his rh blend packed up! Recirculation ones only have 2 wires not 5 but the motors inside ARE the same which saved my...

Keith is correct the Blend & Distribution motors are all identical. The only difference is what pins they connect to on the HEVAC ECU and the colour ident on the cables !

I wonder if you missed one of the screws holding the motor to the box and it's 'pivoting' a bit? I remember it was a bit difficult to line up one screw on each motor. When you get round to it, it's quite easy to see the gears on the box going...

When you did the O rings did you strip the whole dash out or make the special hole for the long screwdriver and cut the duct? If you cut the duct it's not a big job to get access to the hvac motors again. You might be able to see all the hvac...

Doing the decals also vastly improves your mpg. :vb-weyes: Never seen more than 24 knocking about. Ps...I know they fib. I actually saw 28.2 but the missis wasn't quick enough with the camera.
