    A frame Ball joint

I don't think mine is knackered though i haven't tested it fully, i did get lots of clanks from the rear end when travelling, turns out it was the hinged rear spare wheel carrier, strip down and new washers fixed that and it sounds a 100% better now, like a new car (well nearly!!) but i will test...

    Fitting a snorkel

Ah i see, i'm glad its not just me that thinks this. i'm also going to change the airfilter to a standard one and see if that makes a difference. i'm not dissatisfied with it at all and to be honest if it gives a bit more mpg as i'm driving it more sensibly then thats a win win in my book cheers

    Fitting a snorkel

One thing i've noticed , and it might just be me, is that before i fitted the snorkel i would get quite a bit of black smoke from the exhaust, particularly when clogging it, suggesting running a bit over fuelled, since fitting the snorkel this seems to have got much less but the engine doesn't...

    Fitting a snorkel

Well i fitted it today, the pipe goes into the convoluted pipe marked in yellow with the reducer between. pipes were a faff to get off as caked mud had turned to concrete, but once of and washed they softened to make it easier. needed a bit of bulldog BDX to make them a bit more slippy. not...

    Fitting a snorkel

yeah i've been looking on Ebay, they seem to refer to them as a water trap, i assume to let excess water out rather than in. i'll take a look from underneath to see if it really is gauze, i just reached down to see what i could feel
