I would agree with this. Take the money and go elsewhere as the dealer knew he sold you a pup and most likely has friendly MOT station who would be in trouble if you reported them also. When your money is back in your account let us know the...

I am so sorry for your experience, the advice given on condition and response, has been really good and honest. Now I will say, read the small print on taking a replacement (plus money balance, I have no idea of the law, but I bet it has...

As an update, firstly I am touched and grateful for the support shown here, as this is never an easy lens to stare down, realising you've been a bit of an idiot. Secondly, I have contacted the dealer and the owner has responded apologising and...

Yes, some of the Salisbury type axles had a separate piece that bolted on to receive the tapered pin of the ball joint. These were 10mm I think. But I'd try a few spare bolts to identify what fits and then buy some high tensile jobbies. It's got...

That’s is the correct part number. I got mine from a LR Indy. & it was a lot cheaper than fleabay. It’s exactly the same as a facet just not branded up. Try ridgeway 4x4 Swindon to see if they have some on shelf & price. It’s the only place I...

@Hicap phill , do you know which Facet model number this is? I'm using Delphi lift pump and this changeover keeps tapping me on the shoulder as it makes much sense rather than having a lift pump fail at an irritating moment/on shoulder of M4/half...

Fit a facet pump off the v8 110. About £50 genuine part bypassed the lift pump. Not had any problems since. Fitted to bulkhead for easy acsess to the removable filter on the base Had a few lift pumps fail & caused bleed back

Another possibility is the exhaust fouling the chassis under load, where the torque reaction shifts the engine over a little. I had this on mine a few years ago after fitting a new exhaust. With everything stationary there was a gap, but you...

From time to time I find myself staring at my Wolfs with 60mm studs and get a little horny over their mechanical porniness. Did I just say that...?

Savarin White, LRC456, hope ... with Windjammer Blue, the perfect combination. Ooooh ... with the extra length wheel studs too, dead sexy ...
  • v8250
Don't p!ss around with short studs and 170Nm nut tightening, just buy 60mm wheel studs for your Wolf wheels.

The spare will be ratchet strapped to the centre bulkhead until I fit the SwingAway spare wheel carrier.👍 And the picture has given me more motivation to get them fitted!😁😁. The white wheels will go well with the blue 90.😎😎

Okay so slightly better news. The crown and pinion look okay, that's a huge relief. Its the pinion bearing that has collapsed - just battling getting it out now to check if the pinion shaft is okay. I think I am going to try and upgrade to an...
